If you are a Jars of Clay fan you NEED to purchase this album. This is their 12th album in 15 years. I still remember listening to Jars of Clay when I was in ninth grade. They have been around since 1995 and are still thriving. Their newest album "The Shelter" came out this past Tuesday and it is AMAZING. Jars of Clay never disappoints. This album is a collaborative album, it features Mac Powell (Third Day), David Crowder, Mike Donehey (Tenth Avenue North), Leigh Nash (Sixpence None the Richer), Brandon Heath and Amy Grant, to name a few.
Jon and I both love this album and have listened to it nonstop since buying it on iTunes. My favorite track is the Shelter. It is a great, great song. So, I just wanted to recommend this album and I hope you buy it. Jars of Clay just started their fall tour with Brandon Heath and I am so excited to see them. They are coming to Florida later this month, although not to Jacksonville, they will be in Ocala and we will be there. We hated to miss Rock the Universe this year (Jars of Clay was there) but we will get to see them now. And Brandon Heath is amazing as well :) Enjoy!

We will have to check this out! Jars of Clay is my all time favorite. There songs are timeless! Remember when we saw them that year at Christmas with Caedmon's Call. That was a great concert!
Yes! That was a great concert. Jon missed it though, remember? So, he is excited to finally see them in concert :)
