My work baby shower was back in December. I have a few pictures from that to share. My last day of work was Friday, the 21st. It was bittersweet for me, as I have made some great friends there and it was by far the best job I have ever had. I got to use my degree in the field I have always wanted to work in. I was in the Biology Lab at our local electric/water/sewer utility. I worked there almost 5 years and mostly loved my job...though it had it’s moments...I take away mostly good memories from it. So, for the past two days I have been a stay at home mommy to Roxy and Grady and my belly....Cole. It has been great so far. Yesterday I was productive and did thank you cards and went for 2 walks, cleaned up, did laundry, studied my Bible and watched some Netflix. Anyway, back to my shower at work.
Me and Tori
Me and Patti...I will miss her the most. Patti I promise I will come back to visit :)
My church shower was 3 weeks ago. It was decorated so beautifully. I am so thankful to have such wonderful friends and church family. I don’t know what I would do without them in my life. Thank you to everyone who made this shower possible.
I love this... :)
I love this too, I have some talented friends
The cake. I love it!! It was very yummy too.
The family :)
Diaper cake made by Moriah and Pam. I love it!! There were so many neat things in this diaper cake, including many cloth diaper liners. Thanks!
I had lots of help from Jenna. She brought gifts to me and threw all the trash away.
Ashley wanted to help open gifts, which was fine because I could not bend over to unwrap anything.
I love this too. Also from Moriah, it has the verse from Proverbs about “training up a child.” I adore it.
Everyone that helped with the shower :) I am so blessed.
My sweet helpers
Definitely :)
She is precious
Now, on to my update. We went to the doctor this morning only to find out that Cole is super happy in my tummy. No change... So.... We go back next Wednesday to see what is going on. Hopefully there will be a change. As I have 12 days left and he is only getting bigger. My doctor said since he is in position to be born they won’t induce yet. And they won’t induce at all if I don’t progress soon. So, he said we will see what happens on Wednesday. If I have progressed we can do an induction or still wait to see if he comes on his own. If nothing has changed we will wait another week. Hopefully things will start moving by then (pray)... If not he’ll let me go a week after I am due and then have a C-section if nothing else changes. So, pray that Cole decides he wants to meet his family soon. We are so excited to meet him and cannot wait for him to get here. Whatever way God has planned for him to come into this world. Please pray for Cole and that he continues to stay healthy and decides to come soon, pray for us as we get anxious about the big day and pray for my doctor as we continue to make decisions.
Here are my updated pictures :)
