Catching up...

After much debate with myself I have decided to quit Facebook. It was such a time waster and I hated how often I felt like I needed to be on it. So, I took about a 2 week break and then decided I will shut it down. The longer I am away from it the less I miss it. So, I will be posting here now. I love to write and this blog is much better for that than Facebook was.

We are fast approaching my favorite time of year. Most of you that know me, know that I love the Fall and the holidays in general. I know it is JUST now August but to me we are on the downward slope to the holidays. I cannot wait. I will be decorating for the Fall before you know it!

In other news there are some GREAT concerts coming our way. I cannot wait. First up is Switchfoot's Hello Hurricane Tour! Jon and I have seen Switchfoot once in the past and they are AMAZING!!! Their new CD Hello Hurricane is also AMAZING. So, if you live in the Jacksonville area they will be here August 13 at Murray Hill. I am beyond excited about this.

Then we have Rock the Universe!!! My favorite thing of the entire year. Jon and I have gone for several years and this year will be all that much better since the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is open at Islands of Adventure. I cannot wait for some butterbeer and maybe a wand or 2 or some dress robes...! :) The groups this year include Jeremy Camp, Needtobreathe (can't wait to see them), Newsboys, Jars of Clay, tobymac... Need I say more?? It will be amazing. It is a must if you can go

Well, there is much more to update on, but I might work on that tomorrow. I am tired and HOT right now, seeing as how it is 100 degrees or more outside. I need to go through my pictures and I might post some of them later on. Anyway, I hope people actually read this and I am not just writing into cyberspace... :)
