So, I am so excited! Jon mentioned to me the other day that at his job they can get discounts on some of the shows coming to town. Well, he remembered that I have talked about "Wicked" for some time now. It is a Broadway musical adapted from the book, "Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West" written by Gregory Maguire. I don't know that much about the show other than it is the other side of the story, it is all about the witches of Oz. I am so excited! The show runs in town from April 24-May 10, we haven't gotten our tickets yet but plan on it soon. The only other musical I have seen was Phantom of the Opera and that was YEARS ago. It should be a great show and I cannot wait!
